By submitting writing, artwork, or other content, you confirm that the work is your original creation, you hold the necessary rights to submit it, and it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
2. Rights Granted
If accepted, you grant Backsliders a non-exclusive, worldwide, digital right to publish the work on the Backsliders website. Backsliders may format and edit for clarity or style without materially altering the substance. All copyright remains with you unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Publication Scope
Accepted work will be published on the Backsliders website only, unless additional rights are agreed to separately in writing.
4. Editorial Discretion
Backsliders reserves the right to accept or decline submissions at its discretion, edit accepted work for grammar or formatting, and remove published work at any time.
5. Withdrawal of Work
You may request withdrawal of unpublished work at any time. Requests to remove previously published work will be considered but remain subject to editorial discretion, especially where archived.
6. No Compensation
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, publication in Backsliders is unpaid.
