Matthew Brinkley is the founder, editor-in-chief, and publisher of Backsliders Magazine.
Matthew Brinkley is a lover and writer of speculative, literary, sci-fi, short fiction, and poetry. He is a former human video actor (currently retired) and former full time Assemblies of God missionary (fully reformed). He is co-owner of Shannon Brinkley Studio and lives in Virginia with his wife Shannon, their son Jack, and Blue Heeler Maggie.

Scott Lee lives in Alabama with his family. His photography searches for the private lives of public spaces and the uniqueness of the American South. He also works in graphic design and music.
